How Does It Work

When placed in your home or yard (back or front) the Bark Control Pro is designed to trigger automatically each time a dog barks, (within 50 feet) and stop as soon as it stops barking.

An adjustable bark sensor allows you to raise or lower the sensitivity as needed. This is helpful if your neighbor’s dog is farther away, or if you only need to silencer your own dog in a small area like the front yard.

Every time your dog barks, the Bark Control Pro will emit a high-frequency sound. While harmless, dogs find this tone extremely irritating. After a short training period, your dog will learn that his barking activates the annoying tone, and he will no longer want to bark unnecessarily.

Audio + Ultrasonic Sound

You have two sound frequency options to stop dog barking. We recommend you start with the “Audio” mode so that you’ll know when the unit is activating and can adjust the bark sensor as needed. Once the unit is activating consistently to the dog’s bark, you can switch the unit to “Ultra” mode. The Bark Control Pro will then operate silently, emitting ultrasonic sound that only the dog will hear.

Adjustable Bark Sensor

This allows you to raise or lower the sensitivity as needed. This is helpful if your neighbor’s dog is farther away, or if you only need to silence your own dog in a small area. For best results, start on lowest setting and adjust upward until unit is activating to the dog’s barking only.

Convenient Remote Control

Your Bark Control Pro also comes with an exclusive keychain remote control. If for some reason the barking dog is farther than the unit’s 50 foot sound sensor range, you can manually trigger the device with the simple press of a button. The remote control can be used from inside your home, car, or even in your pocket!

Directions for using it:

All users need to understand that sounds emitted by the Bark Control Pro will not travel through or around solid objects such as walls or floors. If using indoors, make sure to put the Bark Control Pro in the same room as the dog. If using outdoors, mount above any wood fences or thick bushes, then point down at the dog.

Seeing Results:
Your Bark Control Pro is a training device. Some customers report seeing results within a few days, but most will see results in 2-3 weeks.

Using with Puppies:
Consult with your veterinarian before using the Bark Control Pro with a puppy.

Dog Barking at the machine:
If within the first few days you notice your dog barking at the unit or barking more than usual, this is simply part of the learning process in which the dog associates its bark with the sounds emitting from the Bark Control Pro.

Using AC Adapters:
Do not use any other AC Adapter with the Bark Control Pro other than the official Bark Control Pro AC Adapter. Use of any other AC Adapter will void your warranty.
